We have been inspired by the stories of women who are making a difference in their families, communities and businesses. We understand the challenges faced by emerging leaders and women moving into new places in their lives.

Great Dames was started by women who are inspired by the amazing women in their lives. For some of us, it has been our mothers and sisters. For others, it has been friends and colleagues. All of us have been moved by the stories of women who are making a difference in their homes, communities and workplaces.
Our goal is to take this collective experience and wisdom and turn it into action. Specifically, we are creating a community with the tools and support needed by women leaders.
Great Dames is evolving. As our community grows, we are developing programs that women need to reach their potential. We are connecting with other organizations that share our passion. We are reaching out to businesses and non-profits that are making a difference.
